Meet Our Veterinary Team

Dr. Kim Park

Dr. Kim Park

Owner, DVM

Dr. Kim Park was born and raised in Edmond, OK. Growing up her favorite activity was riding horses. She attended Oklahoma State University and graduated from their College of Veterinary Medicine. She and her husband Mike have 2 kids, Henry and Hazel. They have horses, a donkey, several dogs as well as cats and chickens. She still loves to ride horses and spend time with her family.
Dr. Park has experience in urgent and critical care but surgery is her favorite. She can perform knee surgeries including TPLO’s and lateral suture ACL repairs. She is experienced with abdominal surgeries, amputations, mass removals, dental procedures as well as spays/neuters. Dr. Park loves Bulldogs and has a lot of experience with their special needs and brachycephalic breeds in general.
Dr. Grace Richter

Dr. Grace Richter was born and raised in Norman Oklahoma. Growing up her favorite activity was soccer. She attended Southern Nazarene University on a soccer scholarship, graduating with a BioChem degree. She attended Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Richter and her husband Brian have 3 children, Blake, Margaret, and Paxton. They have a small farm with cattle, horses, goats, 3 dogs as well as cats and chickens. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, practicing her photography skills, and riding her horses.

Tiffany was born in Bayreuth, Germany, and raised in Bethany. As a child, she loved walking around in the country and spending time with her pets. She and her husband Johnny live in Guthrie with their dogs, and she has a daughter named Christa. When not working, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Tiffany is known as our “Chihuahua whisperer,” and her favorite part of her job is gaining the trust of these little firecrackers! Her personal pets include Charlie, Sully, Kyle, StanLee, Rip, Alice, Abby, and Leffy!

Veterinary Assistant

Bradley started working for Waterloo in 2011. He had previously worked as a veterinary assistant at a racetrack and helped train quarter horses. Bradley is married, and they own a farm in Wellston. The pet family consists of the dogs: Sandia, River, Dexter, and Frankie; the cats: Zeus, Rooster, and Nip; the mini donkeys: Reggie and Lily; a cow named Hank; and a pygmy goat named Ben! We can’t wait to see them expand the farm and see what gets added next!

Veterinary Assistant

Ashley became a part of the Waterloo family in 2021. She moved here from Wisconsin to be with her wife in 2017, and we are so glad she is here! Their family consists of 2 dogs (Piper Elizabeth and Moose) and 4 cats (Maximillion, Olive, Briar, and Fern). Ashley’s goal is to continue to learn all she can about veterinary medicine and attend vet tech school to become credentialed. Outside of work, she reads, plays video games, and wants to travel as much as possible!

Veterinary Assistant

Brittany joined Waterloo in June 2023. Originally from Skiatook, OK, Brittany came to UCO to study criminal justice and outdoor recreation. During Covid, she discovered veterinary medicine and has not looked back! She has completed her last semester at OSU OKC to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Brittany and her husband have 2 cats: Fayre and Willow. Outside of work, Brittany loves to read, do puzzles, hike, and camp. She is looking forward to owning chickens!

Micha joined the team at WAH in May 2024. She just moved back to Oklahoma after spending some time in New Mexico. Micha has worked in veterinary medicine for over 2 years and is very excited to be a part of our team. She is obsessed with her adorable French Bulldog named Fila. Outside of the clinic, she is looking forward to home ownership in the near future!

Pat has been part of the Waterloo family since 1996. She grew up in Iowa and moved to Oklahoma in 1981. She married the love of her life, and they now have 3 daughters, 8 grandkids, and 8 great-grandkids! She has 3 cats (Ted, Ziggy, and Tosha) and a Border Collie/Heeler mix named Mindy. Outside of work, Pat loves to spend time in the garden, weave, and sew. Her goal is to retire one fine day and kick back and relax!

Kelly joined our team in March 2024. She has always had a love for animals and has ridden, trained, and shown horses professionally. She ended up working at a small animal emergency and specialty practice in California before moving to Oklahoma. She has 2 dogs: Ralph and Truffle. Her goal is to provide the best customer service to clients and their furry friends!

Veterinary Assistant

Deb was born and raised in Massachusetts Growing up she loved anything to do with animals. She attended college nearby and has a degree in Biology. Upon graduation she started working at a Vet Clinic and has been in the field since. She and her husband Drew have one son, Cole. Deb also rescues Mastiffs and generally has one, or two, or three at her home at any given time as well as a cat. Her favorite pastime is hiking with her family and looking for animals along the way. Deb’s favorite part of her job is interacting with our amazing clients!
Amanda

Groomer

Amanda was born in Oklahoma City, and raised in Bethany. When she was younger, she played the violin and loved going on weekend trips to Lake Texoma. Her favorite things were fishing and of course looking for wildlife while at the lake. She now has 2 children, lots of cats and dogs, a red footed tortoise and several other kinds of reptiles. Amanda still enjoys going on nature walks and sightseeing. She has a passion for grooming and has been doing this for 25 years. She enjoys learning the different personalities and communication patterns from the animals she grooms – they all “talk” in their own way!

Quality Control Officer

Doc, born in 2016, was inherited from the previous Waterloo owners but is a welcome addition to our team. His job is quality control. That means he has a tendency to open all kinds of pet food bags (dog or cat) to sample them to make sure they are good. Because of this, he does get placed in cat jail often.

Comic Relief / Mental Health Advocate

Woods, born in November 2022, joined the staff in December 2023. He is super funny, cuddly, mischievous, and has a favorite pastime of getting into tussles with Doc and Rosebud. He can be seen all over the hospital snuggling with staff members, kicking people out of their chairs, and generally being in the way.

Pest Control

Rosebud, born in November 2022, is a part-time staff member at WAH and part-time barn help at Dr. Parks’ home. She can be seen chasing bugs around the hospital, walking over keyboards at the reception counter, or visiting squirrels in the back of the hospital. She works hard, plays hard, and sleeps anywhere.
